Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Invest Bank posted a 55.6% year-on-year loss decline during the third quarter of 2019, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.
The bank’s loss reached AED 48.9 million in Q3-19, compared to AED 110.2 million in the year-ago period.
In the first nine months of 2019, the Abu Dhabi-listed bank’s loss surged to AED 228.5 million, from AED 182 million the year before.
The hike in the Invest Bank’s loss stemmed from a 41% YoY decline in operating revenue which registered AED 290.3 million from January to September.
Invest Bank suffered losses of AED 179.65 million for the first half of 2019, versus AED 71.82 million in H1-18.
