Cairo – Mubasher: The International Company for Sugar Beet is planning to build the biggest industrial complex in Egypt, with $500 million (EGP 8.8 billion) investments.
Situated on 150 feddans, the complex is will be located in Ismailia’s Al-Qantarah al-Sharqiyya and will produce beet sugar and fodder, the company said in a statement released on Tuesday.
The chairman Saber Hamouda said that his company was in talks with a group of major German firms for the construction of the planned industrial complex.
The project is expected to be completed within two years.
