Industry Ministry celebrates graduation of Growth Youth Program Cohort 2

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of the Youth Growth Program (YGP), a 12-month specialized initiative designed to develop the capabilities of young Saudi talent in the industrial and mining sectors.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and several senior officials, the ministry stated in a recent press release.

In his remarks, Alkhorayef emphasized the program’s pivotal role in preparing young professionals to lead the future of the Kingdom's industrial and mining sectors while maximizing the sectors' contribution to diversifying the national economy.

He noted that the program combines academic learning, practical engagement, and exposure to international expertise through partnerships with leading local and global institutions.

The GYP’s curriculum combines academic modules with hands-on training to equip participants with modern skills, enhance their capabilities, and prepare them to respond effectively to the rapidly evolving industrial and mining landscape.

In April 2025, the ministry opened applications for the second cohort, providing participants the opportunity to expand their global expertise and stay abreast of leading-edge practices.

Covering three main tracks: industry, mining, and empowerment, the program provides comprehensive training programs both within and outside the Kingdom, in collaboration with leading universities and training institutions, to enhance participants’ professional expertise and global exposure.
