Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Imkan, an Abu Dhabi-based developer, is planning to award four construction contracts in 2018.
One of the four deals for the year will likely be signed this month, Imkan's CEO Walid El-Hindi told Construction Week.
“Over the next four months, we will sign two more contracts for two other projects, which we will be revealing at that point in time and not before,” El-Hindi commented.
The top official did not reveal further details regarding the planned projects or their value, but said that his company would issue a group of tenders in 2018 and 2019.
“We have now surpassed our second test, which is not only launching a company and selling our products but actually constructing our products,” El-Hindi said.
The Emirati developer announced that good progress has been achieved in four construction projects in the UAE and Egypt.
