Cairo – Mubasher: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised Egypt’s economic growth estimates to 5.2% for the current fiscal year.
The IMF also raised the North African nation’s economic growth forecasts to 5.5% in fiscal year 2018/19, versus 4.2% in FY16/17, the IMF said in a recent report.
The IMF had previously projected that Egypt’s economy would grow 4.5% in F17/18 on the back of the country’s reform programme.
