Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Malls on Wednesday announced the appointment of Mohammad Hadi Al Hussaini as chairman to succeed Mohamed Rashed Alabbar, Emaar Properties’ chairman.
Alabbar will remain a board member in Emaar Malls, according to a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The company said the decision was in compliance with the UAE companies’ law, which stipulates that no one can assume the position of chairman or deputy chairman in two companies simultaneously, Emaar Malls revealed.
