Amman-Mubasher: Hayat Pharmaceutical Industries (HPI) reported a rise
in profit by 18.07% to JOD 2.37 million ($ 3.336 million) during the
fiscal year 2014, compared to JOD 2 million ($2.8 million) in FY13,
according to a filing to Qatar Exchange (QE).

profit reached JOD 7.66 million by the end of 2014, compared to JOD
6.88 million during the same period of 2013, reporting a rise by
11.3%. In addition, the volume of sales stood at JOD 10.88 million
during the period, compared to JOD 9.8 million
During the
first half of 2014, the company has reported a slight rise in profit
by 1.86% to JOD 1.015 million, compared to JOD 1.034 million during
the corresponding period of 2013.
