Riyadh – Mubasher: Gulf Union Al Ahlia Cooperative Insurance Company received final approval from the Insurance Authority on 9 September to begin the marketing and sale of its Tourist Visa insurance product.
The approval, issued via electronic platform under letter number 9266, allows the company to offer the product specifically to individual retail clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The mandatory insurance product has been officially registered and approved under the identification number P-GUAH-2-I-2026-057-.
The authorization aligns with the company's efforts to expand its retail insurance portfolio and provide specialized coverage for visitors entering the Kingdom.
No financial impact was disclosed in the regulatory filing.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the company logged a net profit after Zakat of SAR 1.68 million, a recovery from a net loss of SAR 67.83 million during the same period in 2025.
