GEMMA turns profitable at EGP 52m in H1-21

Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ezz for Ceramics and Porcelain (GEMMA) achieved profits worth EGP 52.11 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, against losses of EGP 20.98 million in H1-20.

Sales increased to EGP 654.7 million in the January-June 2021 period, compared to EGP 403.71 million in the same six months in 2020, according to the financial results on Tuesday.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, GEMMA recorded profits of EGP 38.63 million, up from EGP 5.55 million in Q1-20.
