GB Corp’s net profits shrink in Q1-23

Cairo – Mubasher: GB Corp recorded EGP 103.95 million in consolidated net profit after tax during the first quarter (Q1) of 2023, versus EGP 365.64 million in Q1-22, including minority interest.

Revenues amounted to EGP 4.74 billion as of 31 March 2023, an annual plunge from EGP 7.84 billion, according to the income statements.

The basic earnings per share (EPS) plummeted to EGP 0.09 in Q1-23 from EGP 0.21 in Q1-22.

Total assets hit EGP 37.47 billion during Q1-23, versus EGP 34.61 billion as of 31 December 2022.

In 2022, the company posted consolidated net profits after tax valued at EGP 10.53 billion, compared to EGP 1.76 billion a year earlier, including non-controlling equity.

Last March, the shareholders of the EGX-listed firm greenlighted rebranding to GB Corp, instead of GB Auto.
