GACA to open new int’l destinations

Riyadh – Mubasher: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) revealed intentions to open new destinations along with Saudi Arabia’s Airport Development Programme, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

The programme aims at developing and improving airports, in addition to increasing the number of domestic and international destinations via launching a package of development programmes and initiatives.

Last week, GACA launched a number of destinations at Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim.

Today, the authority continued its development programme at Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Yanbu, launching weekly flights "every Sunday" via Air Arabia Egypt.

On 14 November, GACA will launch two domestic flights daily to and from Riyadh and Dammam via the carrier Adeal.
