Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) has launched an AED 550 million ($149.74 million) three-stage GSW factory project in Habbab, Fujairah, the UAE.
The new plant will produce clinker, which is a raw material used in the production of cement.
“Production will begin following the end of stage one of construction in December 2019,” Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Thursday.
FNRC’s director Ali Qasim said that the new project would boost the cement industry in Fujairah, adding value to the UAE’s national industry.
