Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The cumulative volume of foreign investments in the UAE exceeded $130 billion, the Minister of Economy Sultan Al Mansouri said on Monday.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) laws have helped in diversifying investments in the GCC nation, Al Mansouri told CNBC Arabia.
He noted that the country is planning to increase foreign ownership in some sectors to more than 49%.
The UAE’s FDI hit AED 33 billion in 2017, up to 10% compared to the previous year.
