Fitch revises Tawuniya outlook to stable on market leadership

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) has received a credit rating report from Fitch Ratings, which affirmed the company’s insurer financial strength rating at 'A'.

The agency simultaneously revised its outlook for the Saudi-listed insurer to stable from positive, according to a bourse disclosure.

The affirmation of the 'A' rating is underpinned by Tawuniya’s leading market share and entrenched position within the Saudi insurance industry.

Fitch highlighted the company’s very strong financial performance and its solid capitalization as key drivers for the rating. Additionally, the agency cited favorable financial leverage ratios as a factor supporting the credit profile.

Tawuniya stated that it remains committed to maintaining its strong financial standing and will continue to execute its corporate strategy.

The company aims to achieve sustainable growth and enhance long-term value for its shareholders while building on its existing market leadership.

Tawuniya’s revenue hiked by 12.64% to SAR 5.76 billion during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, compared to SAR 5.12 billion in Q1-25.
