Cairo – Mubasher: Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payments joined forces with POS Mission to launch a 360 solution for electronic restaurant management, according to a press release.
The company will deploy Fawry’s point-of-sale (POS) machines to support entrepreneurs and enable them to assist cafes and restaurant owners in handling their work effectively.
Under the deal, the two parties will team up to integrate their solutions to enhance the systems of restaurants and cafes to meet their needs in this sector.
Mohamed Kamel, Head of Acceptance and Business Development for Fawry, said: "These technologies contribute to the digitization and advancement of the restaurant and café sector, and are also in line with the state’s plan to achieve digital transformation and Egypt’s Vision 2030."
Ihsan Al Hamoud, the Co-Founder and CEO of POS Mission, commented: “We hope to benefit from Fawry's sizeable experience and unique resources in the Egyptian market, and to combine the strength of both companies to serve our customers better and enrich the restaurant and café sector."
Ihsan also pointed out that "this partnership will not only improve the efficiency of the restaurant sector but will also enhance customer experience, reduce transaction costs, and provide a better experience to its customers."
In the first nine months (9M)of 2023, Fawry recorded an annual hike in consolidated net profit after tax to EGP 556.21 million, compared to EGP 192.93 million, including minority interest.
