Riyadh - Mubasher: In a correcting announcement to the Saudi Stock Exchange on Thursday 14 November, Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company reported SAR 27.2 million losses during the third quarter (Q3) of 2019, against profits of SAR 10 million in the same quarter of 2018.
The company’s revenues plunged by 3% to SAR 1.23 billion in Q3-19, compared to SAR 1.27 billion in Q3-18, according to a bourse statement.
For the first nine months of 2019, net profits achieved by Fawaz Alhokair reached SAR 196.8 million, decreasing by 24.08% compared with the SAR 259.2 million recorded in the same period last year.
On a yearly basis, total revenues retreated by 4.8% to SAR 2.9 billion during the nine-month period ended 30 September, from SAR 3.11 billion in the same period a year ago, while total comprehensive income decreased by 39.3% to SAR 154.5 million from SAR 254.6 in the corresponding period in 2018.
