Fakeeh Care Group takes over Al Fagih’s entire shares

Riyadh – Mubasher: Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Company (Fakeeh Care Group) has completed its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Fagih & Partners Company.

The transaction was finalized on 20 July 2026 for a total cash consideration of SAR 1.60 billion following the receipt of non-objection from the General Authority for Competition.

The payment includes SAR 100 million deposited into an escrow account for a specified period to cover potential liabilities arising post-completion.

The acquisition effectively triples the group’s operational capacity in Riyadh by adding 350 beds to its existing 185-bed facility, creating a dual-site platform with a total of 535 beds.

Management expects the deal to diversify its patient and payer mix by adding cash-paying segments and specific insurance networks.

While the acquisition is projected to increase consolidated debt levels due to financing and the assumption of the target’s net debt, the group anticipates medium-term operational efficiencies and cost savings.

The target company will be integrated into the group as a wholly owned subsidiary, marking a substantial expansion of the hospital's footprint in the capital city.
