Riyadh - Mubasher: Remittances of expatriates in Saudi Arabia increased by 16% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 14.65 billion in April 2026, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
On a monthly basis, the foreign remittances in April fell by SAR 2.30 billion, representing 13%, when compared to March 2026.
The data also showed that remittances from Saudis abroad rose by 1% in April compared to the same period in 2025, reaching SAR 5.50 billion.
