Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) has partnered with the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS) to deploy 5G communication networks and accelerate digital transformation in the UAE.
Etisalat, which is the first to launch the 5G network in the UAE, will become a strategic partner of the weeklong GMIS 2021 Summit to share its expertise in digital transformation and 5G, according to a press release on Monday.
To be held on 22-27 November, GMIS 2021 will explore how data and connectivity will shape the future of the manufacturing sector and offer opportunities for investments in technology, innovation, and industrialisation.
During the summit, the company will highlight how 5G, alongside the fourth industrial revolution technologies, will foster innovation in the manufacturing sector, strengthen global supply chain networks, and promote sustainable economic growth.
