Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Telecommunications Group's (Etisalat) has appointed Obaid Hussain Bokisha as the group's Chief Operations Officer.
Bokisha, who previously occupied the position of Acting Group Chief Procurement Officer alongside his role as Group Chief Transformation Officer, will directly report to the Group CEO, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The new role is part of Etisalat’s transformation strategy aiming to diversify and explore growth opportunities, while boosting business development, expanding geographic presence, and maximising operational efficiency in existing markets.
