Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) has appointed Salvador Anglada as CEO for Etisalat Enterprise Digital, which is in line with the group's transformation strategy.
Etisalat Enterprise Digital will be an extended arm of Etisalat Group that seeks to accelerate digital transformation in the region through an agenda based on mergers and acquisitions, according to a recent bourse filing.
With a 25-year experience in the Telco and IT Industry, Anglada has led several positions in Europe at Telefonica, Dell.
During his eight years at Etisalat Group, Anglada has focused on develping and transforming the B2B unit into a new level.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months of 2021, the company's net profits rose by 2.9% to AED 7.181 billion from AED 6.978 billion in the same period of 2020.
