Etisalat Egypt to inject EGP 2.5bn investments in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: Etisalat Misr, the Egyptian unit of the UAE's Etisalat, is planning to invest about EGP 2.5 billion in 2018 to develop its infrastructure and improve its 4G network services, chief financial officer (CFO) Ehab Roshdy told Almal News.

The telecom operator will fund these investments through revenues from the latest capital increase, Roshdy highlighted.

On 14 February, Etisalat Egypt announced raising its paid-up capital in the Egyptian market by EGP 4.5 billion to EGP 19.43 billion.
