Enppi invests EGP 13bn in projects in Egypt, Middle East

Cairo – Mubasher: The Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (Enppi) has implemented projects worth EGP 13 billion in Egypt and the Middle East during 2019, announced the chairman and CEO of EnppiAshraf Bahaa.

Bahaa remarked that 63% of these projects were set up in Egypt in the areas of refining, petrochemicals, natural gas, and fertilizers, according to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum on Wednesday.

The completed projects in Egypt include the second phase of Zohr field development and the Baltim South West (BSW) development project of Petrobel company, the Phosphatic and Compound Fertilizers Complex in Ain Sokhna, and the Petrosalam Northwest October (NWO) field.

In the Middle East, the company has implemented Sulfate removal facilities project for Saudi Aramco, the utilities development project of Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), gas compressor project for ADNOC Group, and north gas pipeline project of Fajr company.

This announcement came during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Enppi, attended by Minister of Petroleum Tarek Al-Mulla, to adopt the financial results for 2019.
