Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday’s trading session in the green, recording the highest liquidity since 2016, supported by the growth of the energy and real estate sectors.
The general index increased by 23.97 points, or 0.50%, to finish the last session of the week at 4,864.54 points.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 189.719 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 1.965 billion through 1,607 transactions.
The energy sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 5.10% as Dana Gas and Abu Dhabi National Energy levelled up 8.40% and 4.30%, respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector went up 4.29% as Aldar Properties and Manazel Real Estate increased by 5.23% and 8.15%, respectively.
On the negative side, the banks sector inched down 0.03% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) rose 0.29%.
