Emirates not to withdraw from US market

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates airline remains committed to the US market despite plans to cut 20% of its flights due to tougher security and visa measures issued by US President Donald Trump, Associated Press (AP) quoted the airline’s President Tim Clark as saying.

Emirates has no intention of pulling out of the 12 US cities to which it currently flies, he said, adding that the decision to reduce flights to five cities was a temporary response to a decline in demand.

The airline has earlier cut flights to five US cities as actions by the Trump administration slowed bookings from Middle Eastern countries.
