Dubai - Mubasher: Emirates NBD’s vice chairman and managing director Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim on Sunday rang the market-opening bell to celebrate the listing of a $750 million conventional bond on Nasdaq Dubai.
Emirates NBD’s $750 million bonds were listed on Nasdaq Dubai on 15 November, the bank stated.
"Our close relationship with Nasdaq Dubai supports the continuing growth of the UAE as a regional and global centre of financial services activity,” said Al Qassim.
With a total nominal value of $5.03 billion from eight listings, Emirates NBD tops the conventional bonds issuers on Nasdaq Dubai.
"We will continue to enhance our listing processes and post-listing infrastructure to meet the needs of issuers and investors,” Abdul Wahed Al Fahim, Nasdaq Dubai’s chairman, commented.
Dubai-based issuers listed a total of $9.08 billion conventional bonds on Nasdaq Dubai, while overseas investors’ listings reached $4.26 billion.
