Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Merger between Emaar Properties and Aldar Properties is off the table for the time being, Aldar’s chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak told CNBC.
In March, both companies created an AED 30 billion ($8.1 billion) JV to develop master-planned destinations in national and global scales.
“We want to first cement this joint venture (JV) as what it came up to be. So we want to finish these developments, at the highest quality we can, at the timeframe we announced, and share it with the people”
The top official stressed that merger can be discussed later following the delivery of the planned projects.
