Riyadh – Mubasher: Elm Company inked a contract with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) to develop and operate a comprehensive product safety system on 22 September.
The agreement follows an initial award announcement made on 22 July 2026.
The contract is based on a revenue-sharing model rather than a fixed total value, with income linked directly to the volume of operations executed.
Elm expects the projected revenue from this agreement to represent approximately 15% of its total annual revenue based on the audited financial statements for 2025.
Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Elm will build an integrated digital platform to serve as the technical infrastructure for the safety system, in addition to managing various operational tasks.
The contract duration begins from the date the project commencement minutes are signed. Elm expects the deal to have a positive impact on its financial results throughout the contract period by providing opportunities to expand its development of related services.
The company confirmed there are no related parties involved in the transaction.
