Mubasher: The net losses attributable to the shareholders of Ekttitab Holding, listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and Boursa Kuwait, decreased to KWD 8,955 in the first half (H1) of 2020 from KWD 237,218 in the same period of 2019.
The company's revenues increased to KWD 119,162 in the January-June period of 2020 from KWD 9.167 in the corresponding period of 2019, according to the company's unaudited financial statements for the period ended on 30 June 2020.
The loss per share stood at 0.03 fils in H1-20, compared to 0.74 fils in H1-19.
The company has logged accumulated losses of KWD 12.669 million by the end of the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, representing 39.7% of the capital.
It is noteworthy to mention that in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, the company's net losses rose to KWD 158,301 from KWD 42,521 in the year-ago period.
