Cairo - Mubasher: Technical analysis indicates that Egyptian Transport Company (Egytrans) shares reached unprecedented historical highs near EGP 8.45 in December 2025.
Mubasher Research noted that the stock has begun forming lower highs and lows within an upward trend and experienced significant selling pressure during the last trading session.
The price is currently trading near the stock's main support zone of EGP 7.15-EGP 7.00.
The indicators highlighted that maintaining this support level is crucial to halting the consecutive decline towards EGP 6.80. A break above this level would push the price towards EGP 6.60-EGP 6.45.
If the price holds above the support level with increased trading volume, it could pave the way for an upward move towards EGP 7.45. A break above this level would then push the price towards EGP 7.70, according to Mubasher Research.
Price Action Summary
Egytrans’ shares began trading in January 2025 at relatively low price levels.
Performance during the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 was characterized by a short-term secondary downtrend, reflected in decreasing highs and lows until March.
At the beginning of April, the stock experienced a positive trend reversal, supported by a significant improvement in trading volumes, reflecting a return of momentum to the price movements.
This upward trend continued over the following months, enabling the stock to reach a new all-time high in December 2025, indicating the strength of the upward trend.
The price then underwent some corrections due to profit-taking, and this correction continued until February 2026, testing a key support level that will determine the stock's direction in the coming period.
