Egyptian investments in Algeria hit $3.6bn

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian investments in Algeria stood at $3.6 billion, Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said.

Madbouli hopes that Algeria boosts its investments in Egypt to benefit from the available opportunities in light of the robust economic indicators of the Egyptian economy, according to a statement.

He also lauded the mutual cooperation between the two countries in different fields, as well as Algeria’s participation in the recently held World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh.

This came during a meeting between Madbouli and his Algerian counterpart on the sidelines of the 11th extraordinary summit of the African Union (AU) currently being held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
