Egyptian exports represent 1 % of all African countries’ imports

Egypt’s exports represent only one percent of the total amount of the Africa countries imports, the Minister of industry and trade said.

He added that this percentage could be double with least efforts, noting that Africa and Middle Asia area among the targeted markets.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt’s exports to African countries do not exceed $4 billion annually .

Egypt is currently working on increasing its exports as one of the main sources of national income and hard currency.

The African continent, rich in human and natural resources, is currently experiencing extensive economic activity and a flow of large investments from numerous countries.
