Egyptian-Russian bilateral trade up 32% in 5M

Cairo - Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and Russia rose by 31.5% year-on-year during the first five months of the year, as shown by the data of Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Cairo.

Bilateral trade registered $2.775 billion between January and May, with Egyptian imports from Russia growing by 32.2% to $2.418 billion, while Egyptian exports amounted to $356 million during the five-month period, increasing by 26.5% compared with the same period in 2017, as reported by the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
