Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Hala Zayed, announced the completion of all designs related to the establishment of the first Egyptian specialised hospital in Djibouti, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
Construction works will begin in September, Zayed added in a press conference held in Cairo, along with Djibouti's Minister of Health, Mohamed Warsama Dirieh, on Sunday.
The North African nation also plans to build a nursing school and an ambulance point as part of the hospital in a move to support Djibouti's health efforts.
The hospital will be the first specialised hospital for obstetrics and gynaecology in Djibouti. The funds for the hospital are a gift from the nation of Egypt to the people of Djibouti.
