Egypt to build 16 centres for developing business in 2019 – CBE’s Governor

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt on Sunday has evealed plans to establish 30 centres in 16 governorates for developing business during 2019, as a part of Nilepreneurs initiative, the governor of the Central Bank (CBE) Tarek Amer said.

These centres will be built in the headquarters of banks and the micro, small, and medium sized enterprises development authority (MSME) which are participating in the initiative’s event, Amer added.

Nilepreneurs initiative is financed by the CBE, while it is organised by Nile University with participation of 12 banks and the MSME.

This initiative aims to support Egyptian youth investments in developing entrepreneurship, marketing and transferring technology, innovation, and competitiveness.

Amer further indicated the Egypt also aims to increase the number of these centres in the next years to cover all regions in the nation.
