Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt aims to gradually increase economic growth to 8% by 2022, the country’s prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said during the inaugural session of the meeting of the Council of the Arab Central Banks Governors and Arab Monetary Associations on Sunday.

The Egyptian government is currently working on strengthening the role of private investments in stimulating economic growth through streamlining procedures for establishing companies and expanding in setting up new investment zones, Madbouly added.

Since November 2016, the North African nation has implemented many economic reforms towards achieving sustainable growth, increasing competitiveness, and restoring confidence of investors in the Egyptian market, he noted.
