Egypt sets travellers quarantine period at 28 days

Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health has decided to set the isolation period for returning passengers and their families and those who were in close contact with them at 28 days, instead of 14 days.

The move comes as part of efforts to combat the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

Yesterday, the ministry reported 41 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths.

Egypt has now recorded 536 COVID-19 cases, 116 recoveries, and 30 deaths, according to the health ministry’s daily report.
