Egypt’s top 20 food exports hit $242m in September

Cairo – Mubasher; Egypt’s top 20 food exports amounted to $242 million during September, the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) said in a statement on Sunday.

Soybean oil led the country’s food exports, followed by cane sugar and fresh fruits, the statement showed.

Exports of cheese and plants came in the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

The list also included chocolate, wheat flour, frozen vegetables, garlic, and onion.
