Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt’s public treasury has paid a total of EGP 330.5 billion as part of its debt to the National Organization for Social Insurance (NOSI), including EGP 160.5 billion during fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020 and EGP 170 billion in FY20/21.
The NOSI will receive EGP 180 billion in the third instalment during FY21/22 as per the state budget for the coming fiscal year, according to a statement on Monday.
It is noteworthy to mention that the authority approved a 13% increase in pensions effective as of 1 July at a total cost of EGP 31 billion per month.
