Egypt’s non petroleum exports to Indonesia increased 18.9 percent in 2018, recording $139.7 million, compared to $116.4 million in 2017, according to Export and Import Control Authority.
According to the authority’s report, Egypt’s imports from Indonesia declined 17.5 percent to $1.03 billion in 2018, compared to $1.25 billion in 2017.
Egypt’s exports to the Indonesian market, including petroleum and non-petroleum exports, contained polyethylene, caraway, coriander, rubber waste and waste, rubber tires for buses and trucks, trousers for ladies, anise, natural magnesium sulfate, olive oil, books, and fruit paste.
The report also referred to the decline of trade exchange between both countries in 2018 by 22.1 percent, to $1.2 billion, compared to $1.5 billion in 2017
