Egypt’s exports hit $6.75bn in Q3

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s exports increased to $6.75 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2017/2018, from $5.547 billion in the year-ago period, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said.

Export is one of the Egyptian government's fifth main sources of foreign currency, along with tourism, investments, remittances, and the returns of the Suez Canal.

The Egyptian government working on a plan to bolster exports and cut imports to raise the international reserve at the CBE to $50 billion in the coming period.
