Egypt’s ICT sector attracts EGP 50bn investments in 3 yrs

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian information and communications technology (ICT) sector has attracted investments worth more than EGP 50 billion during the last three years, the country’s planning and economic development minister Hala El-Saeed said, according to state-run TV.

El-Saeed noted that the Egyptian economy has benefited from its diversified economy to record growth amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

During fiscal year 2020/2021, the government plans to inject 300% more investments to the ICT sector, she added. 

This came during the inauguration of several national projects by the Egyptian President on Sunday.
