Egypt’s GAFI approves 31 projects with $1.1bn investments in 9M

Cairo – Mubasher: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) approved the establishment of 31 new projects during the first nine months of 2020.

The investment cost of the new projects amounted to $1.1 billion with a capital of $417 million, the Executive Director of GAFI, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, said in a cabinet statement on Sunday.

Cairo, Giza, Sharqiya, and Damietta have seven investment zones, comprising 938 projects with investments of EGP 29 billion, he revealed.
