Egypt’s Archiform Consultants to expand in Europe

Cairo – Mubasher: Archiform Consultants on Thursday unveiled plans to expand its business outside of its home country Egypt.

The architecture and design firm will inaugurate a new office in London and a joint venture (JV) with Stibich Hospitality Solutions (SHS) in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“We’re excited by the response from European customers and the notable success of our design projects in Germany and the United Kingdom,” Archiform Consultants founder and president Medhat M. Nehad stated.

The Egyptian designer has already delivered projects in Germany and the UK, building on its track record in the Middle East, the company revealed in a statement.

Archiform Consultants is also a finalist in the Office Design category of the Society of British International Design’s (SBID) International Design Awards 2018. Archiform’s short-listed project is its International Sales Centre project, designed for Al-Marasem Development.

“Al-Marasem’s international sales centre is a complete design story leading customers on a journey from the time that they arrive at the centre and park their cars in front of the building,” Nehad said about being a finalist.

“Rather than simply creating a functional commercial space, we wanted to design a unique customer experience for visitors to the centre. A ceremonial walkway welcomes customers into a luxurious cube-shaped reception area, which uses natural day-light to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere,” he said, describing the project.

Well-versed in designing townhouse developments, villas, and commercial facilities, Archiform also designs educational facilities, airports, hotels and leisure buildings.

The Egyptian architecture company will attend the annual London Design Festival, from 15 until 23 September.

Having launched its business in 1997, Archiform Consultants currently has operations in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
