Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Yasser El-Kady, said that 4G frequencies are ready to be delivered to telecom firms operating in Egypt, Reuters reported on Sunday.
“We are ready now to provide 4G frequencies to any company… We are waiting for the firms to finalise technical preparations to receive the frequencies,” El-Kady told Reuters.
Last August, Telecom Egypt became the country's first operator to get a 4G licence.
