Cairo – Mubasher: Total sales achieved by Egyptian real estate companies at the International Property Show (IPS) 2018 exhibition have exceeded EGP 1.5 billion, MREC Integrated Real Estate Services chairman said on Sunday.
Emaar Misr and Mountain View made up the largest portion of the sales, Mahmoud Abdelhalim revealed, noting that Egypt’s pavilion at the IPS 2018, which was held in Dubai, saw the participation of 17 real estate development companies.
Among the 17 Egyptian firms taking part at the event were Rooya Holding, Orientals for Urban Development (OUD), Dorra Group, the top official said, adding that several companies showcased projects from the New Administrative Capital.
Other leading institutions which took part in the event included Banque Misr.
Abdelhalim further stated that Egypt’s participation at the IPS 2018 was a serious attempt by Egyptian firms to showcase their real estate projects.
MREC is looking to launch two rounds of the IPS in 2019, one of which will be in Egypt at the Cairo International Conference Centre, the chairman revealed, noting that MREC had established a strategic alliance to organise a number of leading worldwide exhibitions in Egypt, including the IPS.
