Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is willing to strengthen ties with Lebanon in different fields, the Egyptian prime minister said.
The most populous Arab nation is ready to support Lebanon to overcome the obstacles it faces in the energy sector or any other sector, Mostafa Madbouli added in a statement.
Madbouli has briefed the Lebanese officials on Egypt’s efforts over the few past years to cement the pillars of the state and bolster its economic reform programme.
This came during a meeting between an Egyptian delegation presided over by Egypt’s premier and the Lebanese counterparts on the sidelines of Madbouli’s visit to Beirut in the presence of a number of ministers and businessmen from both countries.
The Egyptian government is on track to implement the reform programme in light of a climate attracting foreign and domestic investments, Madbouli noted.
