Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Transport, Kamel El-Wazir, witnessed the signing of a new contract between the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) and a South Korean consortium led by Hyundai Rotem.

The $110 million contract includes modernising the signalling for the 118-kilometre (km) Nag Hammadi – Luxor line as well as providing maintenance services for two years, the minister said in a statement on Wednesday.
