Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has been implementing several development projects in Sinai as well as Suez Canal Axis Project over the last six years at a cost expected to exceed EGP 700 billion upon completion, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said.
During the inauguration of Bahr El-Baqar wastewater treatment plant in the presence of President Abdel El-Fattah El-Sisi on Monday, the prime minister added that some projects such as the New Suez Canal project achieved record progress rates, according to state-run TV.
The country implemented a total of 63 road projects with total lengths of 3,400 kilometres and five tunnels over six years, which is in half the scheduled time announced by foreign companies.
