Egypt bourse opens on mixed note

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 index rose at Thursday’s open by 0.35% or 45.11 points to the level of 12,940.41 points.

Likewise, the EGX100 and EGX50 indices ascended 0.07% and 0.54%, respectively, while the EGX70 index fell 0.05%.

Trading volume reached 30.44 million shares exchanged through 2,770 transactions, as turnover amounted to EGP 174.58 million.

Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 7.069 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers by EGP 3.077 million and EGP 3.99 million, respectively.

National Real Estate Bank for Development rose 2.67%, Orascom Construction advanced 2.45%, and Ezz Steel grew 1.77%.

On the other hand, AMOC declined 1.18% and Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shrank 0.50% to EGP 76.6.
